Greece’s Minerva Marine has upped its burgeoning LNG carrier fleet to four vessels by confirming an optional berth held by the company at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea.
Those close to the business said the 174,000-cbm vessel, which will be fitted with a two-stroke XDF propulsion system, was firmed up at the end of last year.
The additional ship gives new LNG shipping entrant Minerva two newbuildings at SHI.
