Greek owner Diamantis Diamantidis has added yet another unit to his rapidly expanding tanker fleet.
Athens-based broking and shipowning sources have said Diamantidis-led Delta Tankers is behind the purchase of the 156,900-dwt Front Ran (built 2019) for about $49.5m. It will be fitted with scrubbers when delivered next year.
The ship was previously ordered by John Fredriksen’s Frontline in 2012 at China’s Jiangsu Rongsheng Heavy Industries.
