Andreas Sohmen-Pao is a former Goldman Sachs banker, but the BW Group chairman sees traditional banks as shipping's more long-term partner.
He told the Marine Money Asia conference in Singapore he is greatly encouraged that there are banks that have been “very faithful to shipping” and continue to lend selectively in good times and bad.
