Russia's Novatek is hooking up with shipping company Tschudi to develop a temporary LNG transshipment area off Kirkenes in northern Norway for its west-bound cargoes shipped out of Yamal LNG on Arc7 LNG carriers.
The deputy chairman of Novatek’s management board, Mark Gyetvay, revealed that the company has signed an agreement with Tschudi.
The Norwegian company, which says it has been working in the Arctic since the early 1990s, boasts a logistics arm with a base in Kirkenes near to the Russian and Finnish borders.
