China has proposed $60bn in retaliatory tariffs today against the US that, for the first time, includes LNG.

The threat, which includes taxes on other US exports such as lumber, aircraft and auto parts, has been made in response to the US levying $200bn in tariffs against China.

In July, the US placed $34bn in tariffs on Chinese exports. China reacted with a similar measure against the US, sparking a tit-for-tat trade war.
