Jacques Saade, one of the founding fathers of the modern containerisation industry, has died. He was 81.
He died on Sunday according to a statement from CMA CGM. However, further details such as cause of death were not disclosed.
His death comes just a little over year since he handed over the reigns of the world’s third largest liner operator to his son Rodolphe.
