CMB and Oskar Wehr are poised to complete a unique barter deal involving 17 bulkers.
Bocimar International is poised to take control of five of Wehr’s capesize bulkers. In exchange, the Saverys–controlled company will hand over 12 handysize vessels and a cash payment.
That means Bocimar, the dry division of Belgium’s CMB group, will acquire five bulkers it has coveted for over a year as it moves to strengthen its position in a capesize pool of 90 spot-oriented ships.
