Australian power provider AGL Energy has kicked off a process to install a floating storage and regasification unit off south-eastern Australia.
LNG industry players confirm that a request for proposals has been received by potential FSRU providers.
An AGL official tells TradeWinds that a tender process has started and says the company envisages using an FSRU of between 155,000 cbm and 175,000 cbm.
