Scorpio Tankers and Ardmore Shipping have shared some lively moments since Scorpio effectively firebombed Ardmore’s New York IPO in 2013 with its own $200m equity deal.
The rivalry became friendlier over time, with Scorpio even investing $32m in Ardmore stock in 2023.
The two now come together again for what amounts to an earnings report double-header on Thursday.
