Chinese shipbuilder Hengli Heavy Industries has been rekindling relationships with major shipowners and discussing its on-order VLCC newbuildings.
TradeWinds has learned that Hengli Group vice president Chen Hanlun, the son of the group’s chairman and president Chen Jianhua, went on a tour of Europe and the Middle East just before Chinese New Year and shortly after the shipbuilder’s commercial head left the company.
