The Finnish government is to build a new Baltic icebreaker to replace one of its existing eight vessels.
The announcement comes after the country signed the Icebreaker Collaboration Effort pact with the US and Canada in a direct counter to Russia and China.
The trilateral pact is a bid to strengthen shipbuilding ties between the three countries, focusing on icebreakers.
