The European Union wants to hit as many Russia-trading tankers as possible with sanctions.
This is according to the bloc’s sanctions envoy David O’Sullivan, who was speaking at the Brussels-based Centre for European Policy.
Ukraine national news agency Ukrinform cited the envoy as saying that the shadow fleet is the EU’s main concern as it tries to tackle circumvention of the G7 $60 per barrel price cap on Russian oil.
