A Bibby Line bulker that experienced trouble with a fertilizer cargo is now under tow to the Iberian Peninsula for unloading.
Crew onboard the 56,000-dwt Cheshire (built 2012) were evacuated in the middle of August after the cargo overheated while en route from Norway to Thailand.
A salvage team from Resolve Marine boarded the vessel in the past few days and the tug Red Sea Fos has now begun hauling the bulker to either Span or Portugal.
