European brokers are reporting what would amount to an exit from chemical tankers by Denmark’s Celsius Shipping as its fleet sell-off continues.
The Bayside Capital and Breakwater Capital-backed owner is said to have offloaded its final three small parcel vessels, plus another MR product carrier.
The 25,400-dwt chemical carriers Celsius Birdie (built 2009) and Celsius Eagle (built 2010) were said to have gone to an undisclosed buyer for a firm $50m en bloc.
