Algoma Central Corp expects its full-year 2022 results to exceed previous expectations as a result of diversifying its fleet and expanding services beyond domestic dry bulk shipping several years ago.
The Canadian owner of bulkers and product tankers formed joint venture NovaAlgoma in 2016 with Luxembourg-based Nova Marine Carriers.
The joint venture owns and operates a shortsea fleet of 17 mini-bulker, in addition to 26 cement carriers in the international market.
