A planned joint venture between South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries and big data provider Palantir Technologies will be completed before the end of 2022 and expanded.
Chung Ki-sun, who is chief executive of HD Hyundai — formerly Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings — agreed to progress the new JV during a meeting with Palantir Technologies co-founder and chairman Peter Thiel during a meeting in Seoul.
