John Fredriksen-controlled Seatankers Management has sold two clean aframax resales at a hot price, setting a new high bar for this type of newbuilding.
Brokers and sources close to the business said the 115,000-dwt Sea Puma and Sea Tiger have been sold at $71.5m each.
The scrubber-fitted, coated LR2 tankers are under construction at New Times Shipbuilding in China.
