United Maritime Corp has turned a swift profit after the $62.5m sale of two aframaxes it purchased three months ago as part of a four-tanker deal.
The 113-500-dwt Bluesea and Parosea (both built 2006) have been sold to undisclosed buyers, the Nasdaq-listed Greek shipowner said on Thursday.
United Maritime entered the tanker business in July with its first secondhand acquisitions of the two aframaxes and two LR2s from Indonesia’s Buana Lintas in a $79.5m
