Turkey’s Cemre Shipyard has clinched a deal to build what has been claimed as the world’s first zero-carbon service operation vessel (SOV) for wind farms.
Danish owner Esvagt said it was planning to order the unit earlier in April, but no yard was revealed.
Cemre has now said it has won the contract to construct the SOV for delivery in 2024.
