Evergreen Line said it is calling upon area tugboats to help dislodge a container ship that has been grounded off Baltimore since Sunday.
The Taiwanese liner operator has hired salvor Donjon-Smit to get the 12,118-teu Ever Forward (built 2020) unstuck from just outside Craighill Channel in Chesapeake Bay.
But Evergreen Line, the umbrella entity for the group that includes Ever Forward owner Evergreen Marine, is also asking for local assistance from anyone with a tug apparently.
