A big movement of platform supply vessels (PSVs) out of North Sea markets ahead of winter could prevent a decisive swing in the tonnage supply balance towards charterers.
That is the view of Norwegian shipbroker Seabrokers, which said bad weather has already started to affect the market off Norway and the UK.
There was a steady start to October before the bad weather put a halt to chartering activity in the middle of the month, the broker said.
