Dutch container line Samskip has bought Lithuanian shortsea operator Sea Connect to boost its Baltic Sea operations.
Samskip said the deal is a strategic investment for an undisclosed price to extend its pan-European multimodal network.
Sea Connect, based in Klaipeda, operates three ice-class 1A containerships between Russia and northern Europe.
