Eletson Corp’s tanker fleet may be about to shrink by yet another notch, as the Greek company is said to in the process of selling at least four more ships.
Unidentified Greek buyers are spending about $35m between them to acquire a pair of Eletson's LR2s and two MR tankers, several Athens-based brokers said on Wednesday.
Eletson managers did not immediately respond to a request for comment on reports of the sales, which come amid company efforts to overcome disputes with Chinese leasing firms that led to the arrest of other vessels in the shipowner's fleet.
