Here’s how much of ‘blacklisted’ Cosco’s fleet calls at US ports

One in five vessels in China Cosco Shipping’s fleet has called in a US port in the last year, a figure that shows the scope of the Defense Department’s blacklisting of the giant company.

A TradeWinds analysis of data from Veson Nautical’s VesselsValue platform shows that 153 ships beneficially owned by the Chinese titan’s portfolio of companies have called in the US in the past 12 months.
