Svitzer has poached Damco Americas' chief executive to replace Robert Uggla at the helm of AP Moller-Maersk’s towage and salvage division.
Henriette Thygesen will leave her current role on 1 September to pick up the baton from outgoing Uggla, who has also been given a new role.
After leaving Svitzer, he will take charge at AP Moller Holding, the investment company of the AP Moller Foundation.
