Siem Thoen Car Carriers signs up long-term deals

Siem Thoen Car Carriers has concluded further period charter deals for its three 4,300-unit capacity car carriers.

Siem Industries, which holds 88.1% of the the shares in Siem Thoen Car Carriers, says two of the vessels are now under contract until 2011, while the third is under contract until 2008.

In September, TradeWinds reported that two of the ships had secured fresh five-years charters and that the third had an option to extend its charter.
