A second marine-supplies e-commerce venture is being accepted on an industry white list that hopes to single out the best operators of such services.
The International Ship Suppliers Association (ISSA) is adding ShipServ to its preferred-partner list after putting it through a due diligence-type examination. It joins OneSea on the list.
"Another four or five are in the pipeline," said ISSA secretary Spencer Eade, "and I am confident that two or three will be added by the year's end."
