Navios Maritime Acquisition, a US-listed vehicle of Greek shipowner Angeliki Frangou, has shed its oldest VLCC to Thailand’s Nathalin -- a serial buyer of such ships.
The 298,600-dwt C. Dream (built 2001) has joined the fleet of Nathalin subsidiary Prima Marine, under as Crystal Star, online shipping directories show.
Broker reports in Greece and the UK suggest the deal was agreed earlier this week.
