Thailand's Mermaid Maritime has denied it has sold an elderly diving support vessel (DSV).
The company was responding to a media report claiming the 91-loa Mermaid Commander (built 1987) had gone to an unnamed buyer.
Mermaid said: "While the company has received interest from potential third parties in the vessel, such interests remain inconclusive and subject to further evaluation and approval by Mermaid’s board of directors.
