Another Chinese leasing company is moving in on an Eletson Corp tanker.
This time, Hong Kong-based Haosheng International Ship Lease filed a lawsuit in the US federal court for the Eastern District of Louisiana to arrest and recover the 109,900-dwt crude tanker Argironissos (built 2018).
The lessor alleged in the action, which was filed on 12 February, that Greece's Eletson failed to pay nearly $800,000 in charter hire for October, November and December last year.
