The Swedish Club reported a slump in annual profit after what it described as a “challenging” year for the protection and indemnity insurance sector.
The Gothenburg-based marine insurer recorded a $3m operating profit in 2020, down from a $24.6m profit in the previous year.
The result helped grow the club’s free reserves to a record high of $231m compared with $228m at the end of 2019.
