Germany’s Marine Assekuranz has joined Norway’s Fram Insurance Brokers in its Marine Alliance joint venture.
The partners said the tie-up will allow both firms to bundle their purchasing power, combine marketing services and broaden their product range.
Marine Assekuranz managing director Thomas Hackmann said: “As experienced marine insurance brokers, we now want to help shape this path by pooling our competencies and thus offering shipowners a more comprehensive service package.
