Andrew Sturdy has put 10% of the proceeds he got from the sale of SSL back into the combined business with Endeavour.
But ahead of the deal, he rewarded himself with an Aston Martin DB5, albeit without the twin machine guns, revolving number plates or ejector seat extras favoured by James Bond.
His choice of car gives a flavour of his swashbuckling approach.
