Konstantinos Samaritis is to take over as head of Britannia P&I Club's Greece office on 1 January.
He replaces David Harley, who is leaving Britannia after 20 years’ service "with the Club’s best wishes", a release said on Tuesday.
Samaritis is a qualified Greek lawyer and accredited mediator and has worked for Britannia’s managers, Tindall Riley, since 2018.
