Nearly 200 invitees crowded onto the harbour boat Koi on a cold and blustery grey day in Hamburg, Germany, to witness another slew of LNG bunkering firsts.
They had come to see the naming of the world's largest — for this year at least — LNG bunker vessel (LNGBV). The ice-class 1A, 7,500-cbm Kairos (built 2018), which is owned by Babcock Schulte Energy, was making its debut in the German port city.
