Partners of Germany’s Wessels Marine (Wesmar) plan to sign a four-ship order in the second quarter for a new breed of multi-fuel bunker vessels (MFBVs), aimed initially at the LNG sector.
Managing partner Christian Hoepfner said Wesmar has completed the designs for ships, which can be built as 3,800-cbm, single-tank vessels or 5,000-cbm, two-tank versions, and is tweaking these to suit charterers' requirements.
