TotalEnergies Marine Fuels says it has carried out Asia Pacific’s first LNG bunkering for cruise ships.
The 12,000-cbm LNG bunker vessel Brassavola (built 2023), which is managed by Mitsui OSK Lines and V.Ships and chartered to the energy major’s marine fuelling arm, supplied Silversea Cruises’ 728-passenger Silver Nova (built 2023) at Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC) on Monday.
No details of the volumes supplied or the time taken for the operation were given.
