Total has secured the contract to supply LNG fuel for CMA CGM’s series of nine 22,000-teu containerships building in China.
It will supply around 300,000t of LNG a year over a ten-year period starting in 2020, with the volumes involved described as “unprecedented”.
Total Marine Fuels Global Solutions, the Total affiliate responsible for marketing marine fuels worldwide, will be responsible for fuel supply operations.
