The Suez Canal has laid down the gauntlet to the Panama Canal in the chase for transits by LNG carriers carrying US LNG exports.
The Egyptian waterway said it will offer a 65% rebate on normal tolls for a 12 month period starting on 1 October 2018, reports agency company GAC.
