Energy major Shell says 2018 will be the year when LNG fuelling transitions from a niche to a mainstream business.
Arjan Stavast, who is head of business development Europe and the Middle East for marine LNG at the major, told the LNG Bunkering Summit 2018 in Amsterdam that Shell will start supplying LNG as bunkers to three main customers Containerships, Carnival Corp, and Sovcomflot from this year.
