Malaysian shipping giant MISC is discussing a potential offshore shipping merger with floating production vessel specialist Bumi Armada.
The two Malaysian companies have revealed that talks are taking place, confirming rumours over a tie-up dating back months.
Bumi said it is exploring a deal with MISC’s offshore unit following the signing of a non-binding memorandum of understanding.
