Shell’s shipping arm and LNG cargo containment designer GTT have paired up to develop technologies to transport liquid hydrogen (LH2).
Shell International Trading & Shipping Co has signed a cooperation agreement with the French cryogenic design expert that includes the development by GTT of a preliminary LH2 carrier design, as well as a cargo containment system for a mid-size LH2 carrier.
