Russia is gearing up to boost LNG production plans on three export fronts as it responds to expanding demand and pushes for market share on the growing world stage.
The moves are a combination of an expansion of the existing Sakhalin 2 project in Russia's Far East, the further monetisation of vast gas reserves in the Arctic and the development of new pipeline gas-backed export projects in the Baltic region.
