Qatar Shipping confirms it has fixed one of its VLGCs to China’s Oriental Energy for a year.
TradeWinds reported this week Oriental Energy had agreed to pay $570,000 to $580,000 per month to take the 82,000-cbm Al Wukir (built 2008).
A Qatar Gas Transport Co (Nakilat) official has now confirmed the contract but did not comment on the financial terms.
