The head of an Iranian petrochemical trade association said the country has halted LPG exports to Japan due to the lack of insurance coverage.
Ahmad Mahdavi, the director general of the Association of Petrochemical Industry Corporations, said exports to Japan, the world’s second largest LPG importer, told the Mehr News Agency that there is continued demand from customers. But some customers remain wary due to unclear regulation regarding the trading in US dollars with Iranian businesses.
