Dutch ammonia and methanol producer OCI has partnered with wannabe green hydrogen producer consortium NortH2 to develop large scale green ammonia and methanol supply chains in the Netherlands.
NortH2, which consists of Equinor, RWE, Shell and Gasunie with the support of Groningen Sea Ports, is conducting a feasibility study on a project for the Eemshaven area in the Netherlands that would use offshore wind to produce 4GW of green hydrogen by 2030.
