The national LNG carrier company said the limit on non-Qatari ownership has been increased from 25%.
The extraordinary general meeting also agreed that Qatari government institutions, not-for-profit organisations and state pension and investments funds can own up to 5%.
The shipowner posted net earnings of QAR 490.2m ($134.6m) in the six months to 30 June.
