Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) is stepping up its exposure to the growing very large ethane carrier (VLEC) sector with another newbuilding order.
It has booked two dual-fuel VLECs at Hyundai Heavy Industries for delivery by January 2023.
The contract brings the total number of newbuildings that the Cyril Ducau-led Singapore shipowner has ordered at shipyards in the Far East to 47 vessels worth close to $4.7bn.
