MOL confirms Samsung Heavy LNG carrier order as Jera steps in with charter

Japan’s Mitsui OSK Lines has signed up another new LNG carrier to a long-term charter with Japanese energy trader Jera Co.

The group confirmed it was the owner behind a contract for a 174,000-cbm vessel at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea that TradeWinds reported earlier in October.
