LPG carrier owner Tianjin Southwest Maritime (TSM) has signed a pact with the fast-growing Chinese shipyard Hengli Heavy Industry to collaborate on very large ammonia carriers.
Dalian-based Hengli said the cooperation marked a new chapter for the two companies in gas transportation.
Hengli did not disclose if a newbuilding order would follow, but said advanced technology would be applied to the project.
